By using our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from Shelby Jo. Beauty & Co., you agree to the terms below. These are here to protect your time, our time, and the experience for everyone.

Appointments & booking

  • Appointments can be booked online or by contacting us at (812) 786-6803.

  • Please arrive on time. If you’re running late, text or call as soon as possible—late arrivals may result in a shortened service to respect the next client.

Cancellations & no-shows

We totally get that life happens. That said, last-minute changes impact our schedule.

Recommended policy language (based on your current booking policy):

  • Cancellations within 72 hours of your appointment may be charged 50% of the scheduled service total.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service total.

Deposits

Some services may require a deposit to reserve your time. Deposits are applied toward your total unless otherwise stated. Deposit terms may vary by service type.

Pricing

  • All prices listed are starting at and may vary based on factors like hair length/thickness, corrective work needed, timing, product usage, and customization.

  • Additional charges may apply for add-ons (ex: extra length, toner, vivid add-on, second color).

Payment & payment plans

We accept standard payment methods and may offer financing through third-party services.

  • Payment plan options may be available through Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, and Cherry.

  • A $40 fee applies to payment plan options.

  • Approval, terms, and repayment are handled by the financing provider (not Shelby Jo. Beauty & Co.).

Refunds

Because services are time-based and customized, we do not offer refunds on completed services. If something doesn’t feel right, please reach out within [48 hours] so we can talk through next steps and make it right when possible.

Results vary

Beauty services are personal and results can vary depending on hair/skin type, maintenance, previous work, and aftercare. We’ll always aim for your goal—and we’ll also be honest about what’s realistic.

Health, allergies & consent

By booking and receiving services, you agree to:

  • Disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or previous reactions

  • Follow aftercare instructions provided

  • Understand that some services carry inherent risks (ex: irritation, allergic reaction, fading, or sensitivity)

Permanent makeup & tattoos (important)

Permanent services require specific aftercare and healing time. By booking PMU or tattoo services, you understand:

  • Results can fade over time and may require touch-ups

  • Healing varies by person and is influenced by skin type and aftercare

  • You are responsible for following aftercare instructions to support the best outcome

Intellectual property

All content on this website (text, branding, photos, graphics) belongs to Shelby Jo. Beauty & Co. and may not be copied or used without permission.

Website use

This website is provided “as is.” We make a good-faith effort to keep it accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee it’s always error-free.
